Fire Station Design Workshop 2026 Delegate Booking Opens

The Fire Station Design Workshop 2026 has officially opened delegate booking following a successful sold-out event in 2025, highlighting the growing importance of specialist fire station planning, design, and construction across the UK.

Delegate Booking Is Now Open for Fire Station Design & Construction Workshop 2026 Following Sell-Out Event

A new venue and growing demand highlight the increasing importance of specialist fire station design across the UK.

Delegate booking is now open for the Fire Station Design and Construction Workshop (FSDW) 2026, returning on 12–13 October at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon, following a sold-out 2025 event.

The two-day conference brings together estates managers, facilities teams, architects, consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers to share practical insight into the planning, design, and delivery of modern fire stations and training facilities.

Last year’s workshop marked the event’s biggest year to date, with all tickets sold, exhibition space fully booked, and attendance increasing by 35% year-on-year. Delegates from 24 fire and rescue services joined more than 20 private sector organisations, reinforcing its position as a key event for those shaping fire service estates.

Focus on Fire Station Design and Estate Management

The 2026 programme will continue to focus on real-world challenges facing the sector, including:

  • Sustainability and decarbonisation
  • Asset management
  • Emerging risks such as PFAS contamination
  • Modern fire station planning and construction

Sessions will include expert-led talks, case studies, Q&A sessions, and an exhibition of specialist products and technologies designed for fire service infrastructure and facilities management.

“Fire station design is becoming increasingly complex, with new operational demands, sustainability targets, and safety considerations all shaping how facilities are delivered,” said Marcus Carter, Events Co-ordinator at SHW Events.

“FSDW creates a space where fire services and industry professionals can share what’s working, learn from each other, and apply those insights to future projects.”

Collaboration Across the Fire Service Estates Sector

A key part of the event’s appeal is its collaborative format, with a strong emphasis on open discussion and knowledge-sharing between public and private sector attendees.

This approach has helped establish the Fire Station Design Workshop 2026 as a must-attend event for professionals involved in:

  • Fire station design
  • Construction and refurbishment
  • Facilities management
  • Fire service estate planning
  • Infrastructure modernisation

As operational requirements evolve, fire and rescue services continue investing in facilities that support firefighter wellbeing, sustainability goals, training requirements, and operational efficiency.

The increasing attendance and expansion to a larger venue reflects the sector’s growing need for specialist expertise and cross-industry collaboration when delivering future-ready fire service facilities.

The workshop also provides valuable networking opportunities for decision-makers, suppliers, consultants, and manufacturers involved in supporting the development of modern emergency service infrastructure across the UK.
